Notes
Carbon-fiber-reinforced Nylon 6, sold as Fiberon PA6-CF20 (formerly PolyMide PA6-CF — same formula). TDS V1.1: nozzle 280–300 °C, bed 40–50 °C, chamber at room temperature, cooling fan OFF. ABRASIVE — fit a hardened-steel or ruby nozzle (a brass nozzle wears out in ~9 h). Highly moisture-sensitive: dry 100 °C for 10 h and keep dry while printing. Optional annealing at 100 °C for 16 h improves strength and heat resistance.
Dry 100 °C for 10 h per the Fiberon PA6-CF20 TDS V1.1. Highly moisture-sensitive — always store and print dry (keep RH < 20%).

About Nylon
An engineering material: tough, abrasion- and fatigue-resistant, with good chemical resistance — used for gears, living hinges, and load-bearing parts. The two hard parts are extreme moisture sensitivity (dry before EVERY print) and high temperatures that need an enclosure. Carbon/glass-fiber grades are abrasive and require a hardened nozzle.
- Gears and mechanical parts
- Living hinges
- High-wear / high-fatigue parts
- Chemical-resistant components
- Printing straight off an open spool (must dry first)
- Brass nozzles with fiber-filled grades
- Open-frame printers for large parts

FAQ
What temperature should I print Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20 at?
Polymaker recommends a nozzle temperature of 280–300<span class="u">°C</span> and a bed of 40–50<span class="u">°C</span>. A good starting point is about 290 °C nozzle / 45 °C bed; tune with a temperature tower. Source: Polymaker (2026-06-16).
Does Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20 need an enclosure?
Yes. Nylon warps and can crack without a stable, draft-free chamber — Polymaker recommends an enclosure for Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20.
Do I need to dry Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20?
Dry 100 °C for 10 h per the Fiberon PA6-CF20 TDS V1.1. Highly moisture-sensitive — always store and print dry (keep RH < 20%). Suggested drying: 100 °C for 10 h.
Does Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20 need a hardened nozzle?
Yes — Polymaker Fiberon PA6-CF20 is fiber-filled and abrasive. Use a hardened-steel or ruby nozzle; a standard brass nozzle wears out quickly.
